Etihad launches flights to Al Medina

Etihad Airways launched daily flights to Al Medina in Saudi Arabia, increasing the weekly number of flights operated by the airline to the Kingdom to 58. Al Medina is a key religious and cultural hub in the western province of Saudi Arabia and attracts religious Hajj and Umrah travellers as the second holiest city in Islam. The new service to Al Medina is Etihad Airways’ ninth destination in the Arabian Peninsula, joining Dammam, Jeddah, Riyadh, Kuwait, Bahrain, Doha, Muscat, and Sana’a.
Started on 1st February 2014, they will fly daily between Abu Dhabi and the Islamic holy city of Medina - their 4th destination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
